METRO FM Unveils Fresh Lineup for 2024/2025

 

METRO FM, South Africa's largest commercial radio station, has announced a revitalized lineup for 2024/2025, effective April 1. This new array of presenters and shows is a testament to the station's commitment to delivering engaging and inspiring content to its listeners.

Kina Nhlengethwa, METRO FM Business Manager, emphasized the station's dedication to quality and growth, stating, "We have amplified the current lineup and are supporting the growth of weekend shows with exciting changes. Our 2024 offering will ensure that the station remains relatable and inspirational to listeners who are constantly seeking inspiration for growth and progression."
The refreshed weekday lineup includes the return of Rorisang Thandekiso with "Command Your Day" from 05:00 to 06:00, and Luthando "Loot Love" Shosha joining Thabo "Tbo Touch" Molefe on "The Touch Down" from 15:00 to 18:00.
Weekend slots will also see significant changes, with Roxanne Roberson joining Ryan the DJ on "Urban Beat" on Fridays and Saturdays, and Zola Myeza teaming up with Somizi Mhlongo for "The Weekend Breakfast Sounds Good" on the 6:00 to 9:00 slot.
A new show focusing on music and urban lifestyle will be presented by Quinton "The Naked DJ" Masina and Thato Immaculate on Saturdays from 18:00 to 21:00. Seasoned broadcaster Paul Mtirara will take the reins on "The Chill Factor" during the Sunday Love Movement from 12:00 to 15:00, while "Sunday Soul Therapy" with Msizi Shembe moves to the 21:00 to 00:00 slot.
As METRO FM bids farewell to Nothemba Madumo, Oscar "Oskido" Mdlongwa, Siya Mhlongo, and Sphe "SPHEctacula" Ngwenya, the station looks forward to a promising future with its renewed focus on quality content and audience engagement.
